(Death of Death)
Driven by a fear of his own mortality, director Dāvis Sīmanis meets with a variety of eccentric figures and experts. In their vision, the promise of eternal life becomes a civic demand, an ideology, and an investment opportunity—one in which the dead are reimagined as patients awaiting a cure, and the human mind as a dataset destined to be uploaded into a supercomputer. While the transhumanist movement indulges in optimistic dreams of extending human life, the world remains scarred by war and conditions that systematically shorten it instead. Will humanity discover the ultimate way to hack the aging process? And can eternal life be considered a fundamental human right?
