Short documentary
Just Jools
Jools’ dream is to become a dancer. With the help of her teacher, the twelve-year-old gradually discovers how to overcome her physical limitations, gain self-confidence, and find joy in movement.
A curious and imaginative boy, Simão creates his very own comic book, Game Over.
While his classmates are glued to their computer screens, Simão prefers drawing and coming up with his own stories. He sets out to create a comic book that playfully challenges them to put their game controllers down and rediscover the world outside. Inspired by his uncle’s comic book collection and a visit to a comic book exhibition, Simão meets artists who share their creative tips and tricks. A public reading at the library becomes a turning point, giving him hope that art might just change how his classmates see the world.
