Kurdish-Iranian filmmaker Bahman may have lost his sight, but he hasn’t lost his passion. Armed with a camera, he hitchhikes across Europe, capturing a world he can no longer see.
Bahman sets out on a journey through eight countries, guided by his own determination and filmmaking equipment. Although he’s blind, he records the voices, gestures, and atmosphere of the places he visits, creating a unique audiovisual diary. Each roadside encounter becomes both an act of deep trust and a daily test of his resilience and independence. Upon returning to Paris, Bahman screens the footage for his visually impaired friends. What begins as a personal travelogue evolves into a profound exploration of spatial perception and personal autonomy. Created by a blind author, the film challenges conventional notions of what it means to “see” and examines the power of cinema in the hands of those for whom images are an unknown dimension.
