Despite Tesla’s repeated assurances regarding the safety of its autonomous vehicles, many risks still persist. Insiders in this documentary talk about the toxic work environment at the company, where abuse of power and coercion run rampant. This behavior is reflected in the company’s CEO himself. The film charts Elon Musk’s gradual transformation from a champion of green cars into a controversial ultra-right-wing figure with a messiah complex, for whom democracy is merely an obstacle.
