Jan Šindelář

People in need

Jan Šindelář is the deputy regional director of People in Need for Asia. After completing his studies, he worked in the field of sustainability with the organizations Auto*Mat and Zachraň jídlo (Save Food). He then spent several years working on foreign missions for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the French organization ACTED, including in Kosovo and Afghanistan. Over the past five years, he has held various positions at People in Need, working in Afghanistan, Syria, and Yemen, where he focused on linking humanitarian and development projects. He is currently focused on supporting missions in Southeast Asia.
