Hana "Večerka" Nguyen

Hanka Nguyen (*1997) is a Czech-Vietnamese poet, slam poetry performer, and publicist. In 2024, she published a collection of poems entitled Co by tomu řekli doma (What Would They Say at Home), which was shortlisted for the Jiří Orten Award. She studies theater dramaturgy and also works as a journalist and translator. Her essays have been published on the Page not found website and in Revue Prostor magazine, and she is currently working on a translation of Ocean Vuong's poetry collection.
