Viktor René Schilke is an aspiring organic farmer and student at the Farming School. For the third year, he has been farming at Prokopská Farm in Prague, where he grows vegetables by hand for families in the neighborhood. He was drawn to farming out of frustration with political and activist work, where he felt that the crises and structures he was organizing against were stronger than his resources, hopes, and determination. Working with the land gives him meaningful work and the belief that a fulfilling life within planetary boundaries is possible.
