Veronika Šmausová

Veronika Šmausová works as a communications coordinator at AMO Klima, where she focuses on communicating climate policies in an understandable way.

She studied journalism and media studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, piano at the Academy of Performing Arts, and Ibero-American studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. As part of her studies, she completed an internship at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City and collaborated with the local branch of CzechTrade. Her thesis focused on the communication strategies of the Zapatista movement in Chiapas, Mexico.

In addition to working with the media, he teaches piano at an elementary arts school and has a long-standing interest in education policy, Latin America, and the local impacts of climate change—particularly how cities can respond through adaptation and mitigation measures.
