Ondřej Hrabec, Ph.D., works as an assistant professor and secretary at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Education, Charles University, where he teaches qualitative research. In the past, he briefly collaborated as a research assistant with the Institute of Psychology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Addiction Clinic of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and the General Teaching Hospital.
His main areas of research interest include digital gaming, media parenting, and the psychology of play. He has long been committed to dispelling stereotypes about digital games and promoting a nuanced understanding of digital phenomena.
