Under the same sky, a completely different world exists. This documentary film offers an intimate look into the daily reality of Gaza’s inhabitants and shows what life looks like amidst constant threat.
Thanks to cameraman Sami Alsultan, we are taken directly into the heart of Gaza City, where we can observe up close the ordinary moments and extreme situations that local people experience daily. The film sensitively captures their struggle for survival, their solidarity, and fragile moments of hope. At the same time, it highlights the dangers and pressures journalists face when reporting directly from the war zone. Here, the conflict is not an abstract news report, but an omnipresent reality that grips the entire Gaza Strip. (The film contains explicit war scenes.)
