Of plastic you are made, and to plastic you will return. An environmentally toxic VR simulation with the taste of oil, full of fossils and tentacles.

By breathing, drinking water, and eating food, we take in microplastics that alter our DNA. What would happen if plastic replaced most of our DNA? This futuristic VR experience transforms our body into a whole new entity. A meditative voice permeating our tissues tells us how the cycle of life turned even dinosaurs into oil, i.e. plastic, and that there is nothing at all wrong with this process. The authors of this provocative VR project view our transformation into plastic people with an almost satirical calm. All the more reason to ask the question – do we really want to end up like octopuses tangled in our own plastic tentacles?
