One World in Brussels
For the last twelve years the festival is also held in Brussels. The viewers have a chance to see a selection of most interesting documentaries screened at One World in Prague. The festival aims to open a debate about human rights issues that would include the EU institutions through screenings followed by debates with filmmakers, activists and experts. One World Brussels is organized by People in Need. Co-organizers are Czech Centre Brussels and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU.
Longterm partners include European Parliament, Human Rights and Democracy Network, he Embassy of Norway in Brussels, UNRIC Brussels, the Goethe Institute. The screenings and debates are organized with support of various institutions and NGOs. The screenings are held at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, Bozar Arts Centre, European Parliament, Norway House, Cinema Galeries, House of European History and at the premises of European Endowment for Democracy.
