One World in Brussels
For the last thirteen years, One World festival is also held in Brussels. The viewers have a chance to see a selection of most interesting documentaries screened at One World in Prague. The festival aims to open a debate about human rights issues that would include the EU institutions through screenings followed by debates with filmmakers, activists and experts. One World Brussels is organized by People in Need. Local co-organizers are the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, Czech Centre Brussels and the European Parliament.
Long-term partners include Human Rights and Democracy Network, Goethe Institute or the Embassy of Norway in Brussels. The screenings and debates are organized with support of various institutions and NGOs. The screenings are held at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts, European Parliament, Norway House, Cinema Galeries, House of European History and from this year also in the Prague House.
