KineDok Conference / Fostering Communities Launching the ‘How to Set Up a Screening Venue’ Manual

The international platform KineDok will present the ‘How to set up a screening venue’ manual. The manual focuses on the organisation of alternative film screenings and cultural events, and introduces readers to examples of good practice from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Georgia.

The publication, available on kinedok.net, and international discussions offer interested readers an insight into the areas of community building, promotion, dramaturgy and working with young audiences.

The launch includes the screening of short documentary films made by students of the Teplice Gymnasium under the guidance of Czech documentarians as part of a film education workshop.
