Eva Svatoňová

Eva Svatoňová works as an assistant professor at the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Arts at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem and teaches externally at the Department of Gender Studies at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University. Her work straddles the fields of political science and sociology, focusing on the study of social movements, culture wars, and anti-feminism.
In her dissertation How Feminists Became Baby Snatchers, which she defended at Aarhus University in 2022, she described the post-November development of Czech anti-feminism in the global context of the so-called anti-gender movement.
