In his debut film, Theo Montoya composes an ode to his hometown and a narratively layered confession to Colombian cinema. From the originally intended fictional dystopia, in which the ailing Medellín is depicted as a burial ground for the ideals of the past and a physical monster devouring the illusions of the future, the authentic testimonies of a queer generation seep through. This genre-eccentric personal memoir, which flips through an album of fading faces of young people, captivated audiences at the Venice Film Festival. *The film contains explicit sex scenes.
