One World in Brussels
For the last twelve years the festival has also been held in Brussels. Viewers have a chance to see a selection of the most interesting documentaries screened at One World in Prague. The festival aims to open a debate about human rights issues that include EU institutions through screenings followed by debates with filmmakers, activists and experts. One World in Brussels is organised by People in Need and co-organised by the Czech Centre Brussels and the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU.
One World in Brussels will take place from 23 to 30 April 2019.
Long term partners include the European Parliament, Human Rights and Democracy Network, the Embassy of Norway in Brussels, and UNRIC Brussels. The screenings and debates are organised with the support of various institutions and NGOs. The screenings are held at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, Bozar Arts Centre, European Parliament, Norway House, Cinema Galleries, House of European History and at the premises of European Endowment for Democracy.
