A single moment alters the course of the protagonist’s life. The film follows the consequences of a fatal mistake and asks whether one can continue living after another life has ended.
(The Track)
Mirza, Hamza, and Zlatan grew up in post-war Sarajevo. Once the host of the 1984 Winter Olympics, the city is now scarred by bullets, surrounded by graves, and offers little certainty for its youth. Yet the three boys nurture big ambitions. Together, they repair the iconic bobsled track and train for the Olympics. In a country riddled with corruption, however, money and energy run out quickly, and over time, it’s not just the graffiti-covered concrete track that begins to crumble, but the dreams of some of the boys as well. This cinematic journey captures both the chilling disillusionment of a young Bosnian generation and the willpower and determination to shape their own destiny.
