Father
A single moment alters the course of the protagonist’s life. The film follows the consequences of a fatal mistake and asks whether one can continue living after another life has ended.
(Teenage Life Interrupted)
Unexplained aches and pains shape the lives of four teenage girls, who, despite spending years in and out of doctors’ offices, remain without answers. Before they find support from a compassionate medical team, they often encounter mockery and disbelief. The documentary follows a detective-like investigation into the links between their symptoms while exploring the struggle to heal not only their bodies but also their minds and the despair of their parents. Through a sensitive and immersive lens, the film reveals how much depends on the determination of individuals and how little is still understood about psychosomatic illness.
