Jakub Motejzík

Director and screenwriter Jakub Motejzík has directed a number of successful television projects. These include documentaries filmed in Ukraine since Russia’s takeover of Crimea, i.e. the documentaries Exodus (2015) about the Volhynian Czechs, Sokolové pro Ukrajinu (2023) about preparations for a Sokol gathering under difficult wartime conditions, and Jevhenija a Natalija (2024) about a mother and daughter who organized the relocation of families to the Czech Republic in the early days of the war.
