The One World Festival takes place in dozens of towns throughout the Czech Republic. The organizational and volunteer teams from all regions select the documentaries about human rights for their audiences. Also thanks to them, One World is visited by almost one hundred thousand spectators every year.
Last year, when the festival took place online due to the coronavirus pandemic, a number of towns took part in the online live debates. This year, they are preparing for a return to the cinemas and the priceless face-to-face meetings of the guests and the audience, allowing informal discussions on today’s important social issues to take place.
Regional festivals could not have come into being without the efforts and commitment of our partners and collaborators, who are actively interested in what is happening around them and have the energy and determination to bring festival themes closer to their regional audience.
