Tickets and reservations

Tickets can be bought online and in the ticket offices of the relevant cinemas, and newly also at the Lucerna Passage Infopoint, open from 4 March.

*Partner accreditation allows you to see up to 22 films! Two during every weekday and three on weekend days!

Language and subtitles

All films have Czech and English subtitles. Selected films have open captions for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Selected films come with an audio description for the audience with visual disability.

Relaxed screenings labeled with /R/ pictogram come in Czech version without subtitles.

Programme of the East Doc Platform and lectures of the foreign guests are in English.

Selected accompanying events, include Czech sign-language interpreting.


Lucerna Passage Infopoint

A place to buy festival merchandise as well as buy or pick up your  "Dangling Tickets".

There will be two computers available, allowing every festival goer to buy tickets to any screening in any cinema, with assistance from our staff. Tickets can be printed out or sent to visitors’ emails.

Accredited visitors can pick up their tickets for the next day here.

Mariánské náměstí Infopoint

The Infopoint in Municipal Library will serve as a place where people can get information about the festival program, get film or event recommendations, buy festival merchandise and a "Dangling Ticket" or try out virtual reality.

Kid’s Film Corner

Municipal Library

Film Workshops for children will be based at the Municipal library, and will accomodate children 3 years and older. It will be located at the “Dilna” space, on the right-hand side of the main entrance. You can either reserve a space in advance, or drop off your child at any time. The maximum capacity of the kid’s corner is 10 children.

Workshops are organised by Free Cinema.

Audience Centre

Tibet Open House

  • Throughout the festival, you can take advantage of our audience centre.
  • Most accompanying events take place here.
  • This is a place where you can meet other filmgoers and the festival team or buy our merchandise.
