The Tap Tap’s musicians and singers are all from Jedlička’s Institute – people living with various diagnoses as well as diverse personalities and original humour.
Láďa is always joking. Petr has his own incomprehensible dictionary. Jana seeks a partner via a dating service. They are linked through their joy in music and their involvement in the group founded more than 20 years ago by bandmaster Šimon Ornest. Strictly, almost despotically, without pity but with great energy and understanding, he not only leads his musicians to a place on the music scene but is also their support and friend. Director Radovan Síbrt’s film offers a glimpse into the lives of The Tap Tap’s members and makes it possible to share their joys, successes, failures, and also painful farewells.

Caught in the Net
A new documentary by Barbora Chalupová and Vít Klusák on what can happen to young girls when left at the mercy of the uncontrollable virtual world.
1,200 kilometres of snowy landscape to be covered in 12 days. These are the conditions for the Finnmarksløpet sled dog race and Czech husky breeder Jana Henychová is set to participate again.
The human species is starting to realise its transience and human identity is in crisis. The film tries to reflect this feeling forming a nonanthropomorphic view of the landscape and nature. An audio-visual requiem for homo sapiens.
The heroines of the film are seriously concerned about the future of humanity and the planet. They organise activist events within the Czech branch of the Extinction Rebellion movement, which raises awareness about the impacts of the global environmental crisis.
Kiruna – A Brand New World
Iron ore mining is causing the northern Swedish town of Kiruna to sink into the ground. 6000 inhabitants must move a few kilometres away from their lifelong home, taking houses, town hall, and church with them.
If your past isn't clear, it can catch up to you in the future. The mafia's brutal practices in the Slovak political arena in the 1990s opened the door to recent events.
Nomad Meets the City
Currently Mongolia’s capital has 1.5 million inhabitants - half the population of the country. Fifty-year Tumurbaatar is only one of many coming to the city to fulfill their dreams of a better life.
The protagonists of this poetic film, in which the boundary between reality and fiction is erased, are the most excluded of the excluded – deaf children living in the impoverished conditions of Slovakia’s Roma settlements.
The Czechs Are Excellent Mushroom Pickers
HHow would an extra-terrestrial intelligence view homo sapiens and the way the species plods along? The way we humans treat our planet? Do Czechs differ in how they care for nature?
Town of Glory
The legacy of the Great Patriotic War still resounds loudly in Russia. In today’s aggressive politics, Putin’s crew is skilfully using this in order to gain support in a small town that came to symbolise the victory over fascism.
