Minority rights in a globalized world

A leading scholar on minority rights, Joshua Castellino is a professor of Law and Head of the Law Department at Middlesex University in London. He also chaired the eighth UN Forum on Minorities and wrote numerous books on international law and human rights. Last year, Castellino became the executive director of the Minority Rights Group International, which has been supporting the cause of the persecuted Yazidi people and worked directly with Nadia Murad, who received the Nobel Prize and European Parliament's Sakharov Prize and whose work the film On Her Shoulders documents.
The talk and debate will be interpreted into Czech and Czech sign language.
The event is supported by the European Parliament.
