Tickets can be bought online on websites and in the ticket offices of the relevant cinemas, and newly also at the Lucerna Passage Infopoint.

Languages and subtitles

All films come with Czech subtitles or in Czech version with English subtitles.

18 selected films labeled with /OC/ pictogram come with open captioning for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers.

5 selected films come with an audio description for the audience with visual disability.

Relaxed screenings labeled with /R/ pictogram come in Czech version without subtitles.

Programme of the East Doc Platform and lectures of the foreign guests are in English.

A place to buy festival merchandise and get more information.

For the first time our infopoint offers assisted ticket sales. There will be two computers available, allowing every festival goer to buy tickets to any screening in any cinema, with assitance from our staff. Tickets can be printed out or sent to visitors’ emails.

Audience Centre

Throughout the festival, you can take advantage of our audience centre. Most accompanying events and the festival infopoint are located here. It is also a place where you can meet other filmgoers and the festival team, buy our merchandise or screen print your own T-shirt. We will provide you with colours, paint roller and a piece of advice.

Children’s Corner

Municipal Library

The kid's corner this year will be based at the Municipal library, and will accomodate children 3 years and older. It will be located at the “Dilna” space, on the right-hand side of the main entrance. You can either reserve a space in advance, or drop off your child at any time. The maximum capacity of the kid’s corner is 10 children.

The corner will be open from March 7-16.

Child care is provided by Baby Office.

March 8 - 10 and March 14 - 16 there will also be film workshops for all ages, organised by Free Cinema, at the kid’s corner. The workshops will be free of charge.
