Safe Proximity – The Case of Tibet

This public lecture will be delivered by Sikyong Lobsang Sangay, the President of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile and the successor to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s political function. Lobsang Sangay is a graduate of the Harvard University Law School and has held the highest political position of “Sikyong” since 2011. Sangay promotes “middle way” politics, based on equality and mutual cooperation between Tibet and China, and is striving to achieve a peaceful solution to the Tibetan question.

Dmitry Muratov (born 30 October 1961 in Kuybyshev) is the former editor-in-chief of the Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta. He edited the newspaper between 1995 and 2017.[1] The Novaya Gazeta has been called "the only truly critical newspaper with national influence in Russia today" by the Committee to Protect Journalists.
