Iraqi journalist Noor Al Helli reports on the war against Islamic State. She travels to the Iraq-Syria border with a clear idea of good and evil. This gradually disintegrates in the same way as her journalistic distance.

Noor Al Helli is a journalist, but also a mother and civilian. She thus feels a moral obligation to fight against Islamic State. But her weapons are words, not bullets. She soon realizes that nothing is black and white. She meets women whose husbands have joined ISIS and are now paying a high price for this. While bullets fly around her, Noor tries to understand what attracted them to a radical movement. She can no longer impartially report about civilian suffering. She is on the side of ordinary people, the innocent victims of the conflict. The film is not only the story of a brave journalist but also a powerful portrait of an endless war.
