The One World Festival throughout the seven years of its existence has developed an impressive organizational platform, which suitably links together the energy of the Prague center with the initiatives of the regional organizers of the festival in thirteen other cities in the Republic. Our organizers are people from a wide spectrum of society: activists in the civil sector, teachers, film professionals, and students.

One World represents for each city an opportunity to create a space in which people with various ideas and perceptions and with differing views of the world and life experiences can meet around the themes of the films. The festival initiates discussions in which local and regional experts become involved, as well as specialists of distinction at the national level. As part of the festival there will also be accompanying events such as exhibitions, concerts and presentations of other activities in the non-profit sector.

One World cooperates with primary and secondary schools and universities; their pupils, students and teachers are at the same time our audience members, co-workers, and organizers. A number of cinemas, theatres and other cultural institutions also participate in the festival. Last but not least the festival cooperates with the municipalities and regions without whose support it hardly could have achieved its current form.
